Former Inter Milan manager Leonardo has begun talks with Paris Saint Germain about becoming the club’s new sporting director.
The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to the Ligue 1 club following his departure from the San Siro in June.
But he denied that an agreement has been reached with PSG, who have new-found wealth after Qatar Sports Investments recently acquired a 70 percent stake in the club.
“I have little to say about Paris St Germain,” Leonardo said. “I had a meeting with them two days ago and there was no final decision on this issue.”
“After I finished my contract on July 1st I had the opportunity to see what was really there for me at Paris St Germain, which was on June 30. I had a meeting but there has been no conclusion yet.”
Leonardo played for PSG during the 1996-97 season.
