Bayer Leverkusen’s left-back Wendel is targeted by a host of Europe’s top clubs interested to make a move for the Brazilian in the summer, according to Spanish outlet AS.
Real Madrid are believed to be leading the line for the 22-year-old Brazilian international, who is being regarded as the long-term replacement for Marcelo.
Los Blancos will face s stiff competition in the race for Wendel’s signature however as Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be closely monitoring the situation ready to pounce for the highly-rated Brazilian defender.
French champions have already been linked with a move for Wendel last year and Blanc is apparently ready to step up the interest in pursuit of the Bayer Leverkusen starlet.
Former Gremio left-back has already racked up 37 games this season, managing three assists for his team.
Talented defender has joined the Bundesliga outfit in February 2014, having signed a five-year contract with the German club.
