Bundesliga high-flyers Bayer Leverkusen have submitted an improved offer for Hamburg youngster Jonathan Tah, according to Bild.
Die Werkself are eager to lure the talented footballer to Bay Arena this summer, and they plan to take advantage of HSV’s difficult financial situation.
After initially offering €6 million for Tah, Leverkusen have now improved their proposal by including forward Robbie Kruse in the deal.
And with Hamburg previously showing interest in the Australia star, an agreement appears to be on the horizon.
While Tah has impressed at the start of his career at Imtech Arena as well as during a loan spell with Fortuna Dusseldorf, Robbie Kruse has seen his stint with Bayer plagued by injuries.
But, having finally returned to full training, the Australian is eager to show he has what it takes to perform at this level and a switch to Hamburg could prove a very good career move for the 26-year-old.
