Leverkusen interested in Mitrovic

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Bayer Leverkusen are eager to try and secure a deal for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Cottagers forward was one of the few shining lights for Fulham during their Premier League campaign last season, in which they were relegated back down to the Championship. Leverkusen are said to be going after another natural goalscorer, and it’s safe to say that Mitrovic fits the bill in that regard. They’re also interested in going after the services of Watford winger Dodi Lukebakio, who put together a string of impressive performances during his loan spell at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Leverkusen have been attempting to make the necessary moves to compete in Bundesliga once again, but up to this point, they haven’t quite been able to do so. Perhaps if they are able to secure Mitrovic, alongside a few other big names, then they’ll be a step closer to getting back into the title mix.
