Bayern Munich superstar forward Robert Lewandowski is said to have reached an agreement with Real Madrid over a two-year deal, according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The 29-year-old Polish hotshot is reportedly unhappy in Bavaria and has already hired a new agent Pini Zahavi earlier this year which has been understood as a clear attempt to construct a move away from Munich.
And now the Spanish newspaper claims Zahavi has already held a series of meetings with Real Madrid representatives ahead of the potential summer move to Santiago Bernabeu.
The Pole is said to have made Los Blancos were his desired destination with most recent reports claiming he already gave his nod on an initial two-year agreement with the option of adding another year.
In the meantime, Bayern Munich are confident Robert Lewandowski will remain at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is confident Lewandowski is “100% playing for Bayern Munich next season”.
Lewandowski scored 23 goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich this season, adding five more in the Champions League and three in DFB Pokal.
