Robert Lewandowski has alerted a number of European clubs after admitting that he may not necessarily sign a pre-contract agreement with Bayern Munich in January, according to the Metro.
The Poland international’s contract with Borussia Dortmund is due to expire at the end of the season, and reports in Germany earlier this week suggested that a deal was in place with the European champions.
However, the 25 year old has denied making such comments, and while he is set to quit Dortmund, he is yet to decide on his next destination.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the former Lech Poznan man, and will both welcome the news of his potential availability.
Nevertheless, it is Pep Guardiola’s side who remain the favourites to sign the striker, who has hit an unrivalled total of fifty Bundesliga goals since the beginning of the 2011/12 campaign.
