Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer and he’s not interested in anything other than moving to Barcelona, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Hard words have been spoken as Lewandowski on one side, and Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn along with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic on the other continue to fire heavily across the public battlefield. The Polish striker is contract-bound to the Bundesliga champions for another year, but given everything that’s been going on lately, it’s really hard to imagine him ever wearing the shirt again unless there’s some mighty change of heart on both sides. Bayern are believed to have identified Liverpool’s Sadio Mane as a possible replacement.
Lewandowski has been heavily linked with Barcelona, and though other clubs have been mentioned as well, including Liverpool who have been advised to ask for the 33-year-old as part of the Mane deal, it seems he has no intention of going anywhere other than Camp Nou. He has already agreed a three-year contract with the Catalan club, and all that remains is for Barcelona and Bayern to try and work out a figure acceptable to both.
Robert Lewandowski wants to join Barcelona, no way for other clubs as of today. He knows it’s still not easy to reach an agreement with Bayern – but he’s only waiting for FCB. 🚨🇵🇱 #FCB
