According to a report by AS, Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski is about to inform the club of his wish to leave this summer.
The Polish star striker has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, but AS claims that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to swoop in. They have prepared a bid of €150 million and are about to inform the player of their intention to submit it.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stated only a few days ago that he expects Lewandowski will still be a Bayern Munich player come next season, but the Bavarian club have reportedly already started looking at potential replacements. Their short list apparently consists of RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata and Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani.
Lewandowski has given an impressive attacking output since his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, scoring 142 goals in 184 games for Bayern in all competitions, and is set to win the fourth consecutive Bundesliga title.
