Robert Lewandowski’s agent has said that it will cost any potential suitors over £35m if they want to prise him away from Bayern Munich, according to the Independent.
Manchester United, who were keeping tabs on the striker before he moved to the Allianz Arena have been strongly linked with a move to secure his services as they look for a replacement for Fenerbache-bound Robin van Persie.
In his one and only season with Pep Guardiola’s side so far, the twenty-six year old made forty-nine appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty five goals and helping them secure a third straight Bundesliga title.
He also won a host of major honours during his time with Dortmund, including two league titles and the German cup while he played in their 2013 Champions League defeat to Bayern at Wembley.
Internationally, he has twenty-six goals in sixty-eight appearances for Poland, and was part of their squad for Euro 2012, which was co-hosted by his home country and Ukraine.
