German newspaper Bild has learned that Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby is on the verge of joining Premier League rivals Fulham.
The German midfielder was looking to leave Spurs in search of first team football and he was in turn linked with a return to Bundesliga.
However, it appears he has opted not to leave England after all, having reportedly agreed to sign for Fulham until the end of the season.
The Cottagers are desperate to kick-start their season having slipped into the relegation zone and they believe Holtby will prove to be a great signing at Craven Cottage.
Lewis Holtby joined Spurs from Schalke on a cut-price deal in January 2013, but he was never given a real chance to impress at White Hart Lane.
The 23-year-old featured in a total of 24 Premier League fixtures, scoring one goal in the process, while notching 2 goals in 13 Europa League outings.
