Sporting Braga continued their good form with a 2-0 away win at Olhanense in the Liga Sagres on Sunday.

The win extended Braga’s unbeaten streak to seven matches in all competitions, with the club now in the last eight of the Europa League and fighting it out for a spot in the top three in domestic competition.Alan was the star of the show at the Estadio Jose Arcanjo and his 13th-minute strike gave the visitors an early lead.In among a flurry of yellow cards, Olhanense shot-stopper Ricardo Batista was given a straight red card with just a minute of normal time remaining, giving Braga a chance to extend their lead from the penalty spot.Alan stepped up to take the spot-kick and delivered from 12 yards, sealing the victory and capping off an impressive performance from the same player who knocked English Premier League giants Liverpool out of the Europa League with his first-leg goal. The result has drawn Braga within a point of third-placed Sporting Lisbon while Olhanense, who could have jumped as high as seventh with a victory, remain in 11th spot in the league.
