Academica de Coimbra moved to fourth place on the Liga Sagres standings with a 1-0 win over Vitoria Setubal on Friday.

Diogo Valente scored the only goal of the game after just three minutes at the Estadio do Bonfim to move his side to 18 points, level with fifth-placed Sporting Lisbon and three behind Benfica and Vitoria Guimaraes – both of whom trail runaway league leaders Porto by 10 points.

Vitoria Setubal remain in 11th place with 13 points ahead of their meeting next Monday with Porto, while Academica play host to 14th-placed Maritimo on Sunday.
