Lille agree deal for Croatian starlet

French giants Lille have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Croatian defender Antonio Milic from Hajduk Split, reports Vecernji List.

The Croatian media outlet has suggested that a €400,000 transfer has already been agreed, with half of that amount paid up front.

Milic, who has another year and a half left on his contract with Hajduk, will be sold to Lille in January, before les Dogues loan him out to KV Oostende.

The 20-year-old is very versatile footballer who can play at centre-back, left-back or defensive midfield, and he is regarded as one of the hottest prospects at the club.

After coming through the youth ranks at Poljud, Milic has made a total of 56 league appearances for Hajduk, while also featuring in nine Europa League fixtures.

His future employers Lille host Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow evening and they can be backed at 19/4 to defeat their more illustrious opponents.
