Portuguese media outlet A Bola has learned that Lille are considering making an offer for Sporting Braga striker Eder.
It is no secret les Dogues are desperate to recruit a quality centre forward in January, having scored mere 16 goals in 19 league matches this season.
And with their move for Petar Skuletic falling through, Lille seem to have turned their attention to Eder.
The 27-year-old has established himself as one of league’s top strikers and he even featured for Portugal at the 2014 World Cup.
Eder, who had joined Sporting Braga from Academica two and a half years ago, has made a total of 46 league appearances for os Minhotos, scoring 21 goals in the process.
His suitors Lille currently occupy 11th place in the overall standings and they can be backed at 4/5 to see off bottom placed Caen at their Stade Lille Metropole and climb to the top half of the table.
