French Ligue 1 sides Lille and Monaco are keeping close tabs on ADO Den Haag defender Wilfried Kanon, according to L’Equipe.
After leading Ivory Coast to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations trophy, Herve Renard took over the reigns as new les Dogues coach.
And he now hopes to get reunited with towering defender Kanon at Lille, with the 21-year-old having impressed on the Elephants’ road to said title.
Les Dogues are widely expected to cash in on Simon Kjaer and they see the Ivorian as a great long-term successor to the Dane.
However, high-flying Monaco are also showing interest in the talented centre-back, as they plan to add some fresh blood to the back line.
Wilfried Kanon spent some time at Empoli as a youngster before starting his professional career at Gloria Bistrita.
Folowing a short spell with Corona Brasov, the stopper joined ADO Den Haag in September 2013 and has since featured in 24 Eredivisie matches.
