Lille open talks to sign Nancy’s Hadji

Ligue 1 champions Lille are pondering bid for Nancy forward Youssouf Hadji, L’Equipe reports.

Les Dogues are looking to add another attacking player to the squad following Gervinho’s transfer to Arsenal and they have set their sights on the Moroccan.

Nancy are looking to cash in on their star player as he has just one year left on his contract, with the asking price reportedly in the region of €3 million.

The two clubs have met yesterday in the Ligue 1 opening round and the club chiefs used the opportunity to open talks regarding the possible transfer.

The only problem for Lille is that Hadji, just like their top scorer Moussa Sow, will be unavailable during February due to his likely participation at the African Nations Cup.
