Lille recruit Michael Frey

Ligue 1 giants Lille have completed the signing of Swiss forward Michael Frey from Young Boys, the French side announced on their official website.

The 19-year-old has signed a four-year deal with les Dogues after completing his medical on transfer deadline day and is expected to reinforce the front line following the departure of Salomon Kalou.

Michael Frey is the product of Young Boys youth school and he already has a wealth of first team experience despite his fragile age.

The youngster has so far made a total of 73 league appearances for the club and scored 17 goals in the process.

Operating as an attacking midfielder or second striker, Frey has proved to be a real menace for opposition defenders and he is looking forward to the new chapter in his career.

The attacker is already a regular member of the Switzerland Under-21 side, where he has bagged 2 goals in 6 appearances.
