Ligue 1 outfit Lille have announced the signing of Portuguese midfielder Rony Lopes on their official Twitter account.
The former Manchester City youngster joins les Dogues on loan until the end of the season from league rivals AS Monaco.
This will be Lopes’ second spell at Lille, having previously impressed during the loan stint in the 2014/2015 season.
The attacking midfielder is club’s second high-profile signing of the January transfer window, with Morgan Amalfitano having previously joined on a free transfer from West Ham.
It was some impressive displays during the loan spell with Lille that persuaded AS Monaco to purchase the talented footballer last summer, but he has since made just two league appearances for the Principality club.
Rony Lopes, 20, had previously scored 3 goals in 23 league outings for les Dogues and will now be looking to nail down a regular starting berth as soon as possible and get his career back on track.
