Lille star doesn’t rule out summer exit

Lille striker Moussa Sow admits that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The player who topped Ligue 1 goalscoring charts last season has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs.

The 25-year-old has two years left on his current deal but is in no hurry to sign a new contract at Stade Lille Metropole.

“Talks about an extension? We have not talked since the summer,” Sow told L’Equipe.

“But I am not upset about that. I am not holding out for anything. I am playing at the moment and we will see what happens.

“I feel happy at Lille and I don’t think about a new contract all the time. It is only October.

“I don’t know what will happen at the end of the season. I don’t know if I will stay or go. What I do know is that I am a Lille player now and I am happy to be here.”
