Lille want more money for Osimhen

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Lille are hoping to sell forward Victor Osimhen for close to €80 million.

That valuation is quite some distance off of what Premier League champions Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay for him, as they have no issue meeting the €40 million fee that had previously been placed on his head.

There is bound to be some form of negotiation before any deal is formally agreed, but right now, it does feel like the Reds are going to be left feeling very disappointed if they aren’t willing to budge on that figure.

Jurgen Klopp knows and understands how important it is for his side to not be left behind in the dust this summer, especially with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all looking to spend big.

His squad is good, but nobody can deny the kind of impact Osimhen could have at Anfield.
