Boubakary Soumare of Lille OSC would be open to a move to Newcstle United, according to Newcastle Chronicle.
Newcastle are reportedly the subject of takeover discussions between Mike Ashley, the current owner, and a Saudi consortium who are looking to buy the club. The proposed change of ownership would propel them straight among the richest clubs in the world, and they are now being linked with a host of top players which would be expected to lead them to the top-end of the Premier League table.
The 21-year-old Lille midfielder has in the past been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, but it seems he wouldn’t object to a move to the St. James Park either. A France U-21 international, Soumare has recently lost his place in the starting line-up, reportedly due to a feud with head coach Christoph Galtier.
He is still a highly rated young talent, and a move away from Lille at this point would possibly be a smart attempt at getting his career back on track.
