Lindegaard signs new one-year Burnley deal

Anders Lindergaard has put pen to paper on a one year contract extension at Burnley, according to BT Sport.

The Denmark international moved to Turf Moor from Preston North End last summer after initially moving to England to join Manchester United in 2010.

He is yet to feature for the Clarets but has been on the substitute bench twenty-seven times in the Premier League with Nick Pope currently deputising for the injured Tom Heaton.

During his time at Old Trafford the thirty-three year old racked up twenty-nine appearances in all competitions include ten league outings in the Red Devils title winning 2012/13 campaign.

Following his time in Manchester he played once during a spell with West Bromwich Albion before moving to Preston initially on loan before signing for them permanently in July 2016.

Burnley travel to Watford on Saturday afternoon and the away win can be backed at a price of 23/10.
