According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard is open to a loan switch to West Ham United.
The two clubs are believed to be in talks but have yet to come to any sort of arrangement on the final details, with the total cost of the proposed deal being around £3 million. The Hammers have already used up their maximum of two domestic loans in their squad, but with David Moyes noting the club is planning on making Said Benrahma’s loan move permanent, that could free up some space.
It’s no secret that Lingard hasn’t quite been able to find the consistency he desires at Old Trafford in the last few years, and his days as one of the club’s main stars seem to be over. Still, if he can regain some momentum with West Ham, perhaps the door will be open for a strong second chapter to his United career.
