Lyon star Lisandro Lopez has added fuel to speculations linking him with a summer move away from the club.
The Argentine striker has just over a year left on his deal at Stade Gerland and it appears he won’t be signing a new contract with les Gones.
With a number of European giants keeping close tabs on the 30-year-old, he believes the time is right to look for a new challenge.
“I don’t think it is possible for me to continue here,” the forward was quoted as saying by Metro.
“Before the end of the season I’m going to meet with the president and the coach and we’ll see.”
Tottenham are reportedly preparing a bid for Lopez as they look to shake up their attacking options, but Rubin Kazan and Inter Milan are also keen.
The 30-year-old has been pushed towards the exit door due to numerous clashes with coach Remi Garde, with Lyon asking around £5 million for the striker.
Lisando has spent last four years at Lyon, featuring in 114 Ligue 1 matches and scoring 58 goals in the process.
