Italian giants AC Milan are keeping close tabs on Boca Juniors defender Lisandro Magallan, Tuttosport has revealed.
The Rossoneri sporting director Rocco Maiorino has just returned from a scouting trip in South America and the 21-year-old centre-back was one of the players to catch his eye.
Magallan, who has been likened to Walter Samuel for his style of play, has been in fine form this season and he scored his first goal for the club in the Superclasico derby against River Plate.
The youngster nailed down a regular starting berth after returning from a loan spell at Rosario Central and has made a total of seven league appearances this season.
Milan chiefs believe the player can be acquired for mere €2 million, but they need to act quickly before other interested sides take notice.
The Rossoneri will be hoping to continue the bright run of results when they face Hellas Verona on the road, and they are 1/1 to emerge victorious.
