Liverpool host Hoffenheim at Anfield in the Champions League playoffs on Wednesday evening, and will fancy their chances of coming out on top given they won the first leg in Germany. The Reds are favourites to see past Hoffenheim to book their place in the group stages of the competition due to their solid home form.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side have beaten Athletic Bilbao, Hoffenheim and Crystal Palace, drawing with Watford, in their last four games in all competitions and have been nearly flawless at home – consecutive wins in their previous two competitive games at Anfield. Liverpool enjoyed a 2-1 win over Hoffenheim in the first leg and won’t take any chances in the reverse fixture.
