Competition: FA Cup
Market: Liverpool to win against Exeter
Odds: 8/13 @ Betfair

Liverpool travel to St James Park to face Exeter City in the third round of the FA Cup tonight, and are big favourites to come out on top given the gulf in class between the two sides.

The Merseysiders are coming off the back of much-improved form too, having recently won away to Stoke City in the Capital One Cup and winning two of their last three league games. Jurgen Klopp won’t underestimate his opposition, but will rest players wherever possible to avoid risking injury.

Exeter are hardly in the type of form that suggests they could pull off a cup upset. The Grecians have gone five games without a win in their domestic league, losing their last four. They have won just three times in League Two since September, and have been leaking goals of late too.

As a result, they may not quite relish the prospect of playing a Liverpool side likely to keep the ball for lengthy periods, let alone the attacking threats they have in the squad, and Betfair are backing the Reds with odds of 8/13 to comfortably dispatch of Exeter this evening as a result.
