Liverpool have reportedly added Leon Bailey of Bayer Leverkusen to their list of targets.
According to the Mirror, the Champions League holders are chasing three players from the Bundesliga, and in that respect Bailey joins RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria on the list.
Bailey is a winger fully capable of operating on either attacking flank and it seems Jurgen Klopp sees him as a good candidate to provide backup to both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. With Divock Origi apparently failing to build on the successes of last season and Xherdan Shaqiri likely to be moved on, that area of the Liverpool squad has become an obvious target for improvement.
The 22-year-old Jamaica international has so far played 22 games for Leverkusen in all competitions this season, though only nine of those have been starts. He scored seven goal and added one assist to his tally.
