Liverpool could rekindle their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto next summer if Mohamed Salah leaves the club, according to Football Insider.
Salah was a subject of strong interest from Saudi club Al-Ittihad this summer, but Liverpool refused to sell the Egyptian star for any money. However, at the end of the season, Salah will be entering the final year of his contract, and he will have turned 32, so his departure from Anfield seems plausible. If he does leave, the Merseysiders will obviously need a replacement, and Neto is one of the options they would be prepared to consider.
The 23-year-old Portugal international has been playing very well this season, and he put in a great individual performance against Liverpool, assisting Hwang Hee-chan for the only goal for his team in a 2-1 defeat. Overall, Neto has five goal contributions (one goal, four assists) in seven Premier League matches this term.
