However, the former Premier League champions are not the only club who are keen on the midfielder. Barcelona also want the Italy international, and the 24-year-old is actually in favour of a switch to the Spanish giants.
Atletico Madrid, who won the La Liga title this past season, are anther club who wan Pellegrini. Liverpool want the Roma star to replace Georginio Wijnaldum, who is joining Paris Saint-Germain. The Netherlands international was a key player for the Reds and won the Premier League and the Champions League with the Merseyside club.
Pellegrini made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma this past season, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in the process. The midfielder also made six starts and six substitute appearances in the Europa League, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
