Liverpool and Man Utd keeping tabs on Newcastle ace

Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly ready to make summer moves for Newcastle United defender Jose Enrique.

Enrique has yet to sign a contract extension with the Magpies and his current contract with the club is set to expire at the end of next season.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is desperate to keep his top stars at the club and is keen for Enrique to sign a new deal.

Andy Carroll, Steven Taylor, Hatem Ben Arfa, Mike Williamson and Nile Ranger are all on five-years deals with the club.
