Liverpool and Manchester clubs to go toe-to-toe for Ben White

Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are set to go toe-to-toe for Ben White, currently on loan at Leeds United from Brighton and Hove Albion, according to The Athletic.

The 22-year-old is a versatile defender, primarily a centre-back, but also capable of doing a job on the right flank. He has been known to play as a defensive midfielder too. Since arriving to Elland Road last summer, he has played in every game for Leeds so far this season, making a total of 40 appearances in all competitions. He was a starter in all but one of those matches, which proves hoe important he has been in his team’s effort to win the Championship. He hasn’t been able to get on the scoresheet, but he did register an assist.

His performances have obviously been extremely impressive, attracting the attentions of three of Premier League’s top clubs. With the money tight for every side at the moment, any one of them would do well to secure the services of such a talented young player.
