Liverpool, Arbeloa revokes Istanbul spirit

Álvaro Arbeloa invoked the spirit of Istanbul as he insisted Liverpool FC can emulate their famous UEFA Champions League final comeback against AC Milan in 2005 by overhauling their 3-1 quarter-final first leg deficit against Chelsea FC.

“We believe we can do it. Why not? We just have to go there and fight, try to score and after that get another,” the 26-year-old said. “This team won a Champions League final by scoring three goals in five minutes, so we can score three in 90. We have to remember that and believe in ourselves.”
