The title race in the Premier League has taken another twist on Monday evening with leaders Manchester City failing to beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The defending champions have now failed to score in four league matches this season (Liverpool one), and overall, they scored five goals less in one match played more than their Merseyside rivals.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes this difference in attacking input may yet swing the whole race Liverpool’s way.
As things stand right now, City lead with 70 points and nine matches left to play. Liverpool are on their heels with 66 points and 10 matches to play. The two teams face each other at the Etihad on April 10th.
