Liverpool are set to make a £10m move for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, according to the Mirror.
The Reds were keen on securing the Bosnia and Herzegovina international’s services in the summer of 2013 but were put off by his £15m price tag.
However, with current first choice shot-stopper Simon Mignolet still failing to convince all at Anfield, they look ready to reignite their interest in to Potters number one.
Since moving to the Britannia Stadium from Portsmouth in January 2010, the 27 year old has made almost one hundred and fifty appearances in all competitions, and even scored a famous goal in last season’s 1-1 draw with Southampton while he also has thirty-seven caps for his country.
Despite taking an early lead, Liverpool lost 2-1 to table toppers Chelsea – a result which sees them fall fifteen points behind Jose Mourinho’s men though they are just four points off the top four.
