According to a recent report over in Germany, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are both interested in the possibility of bringing Max Kruse to their club. The 31 year old was able to score 11 goals this season to go alongside nine assists, reigniting the interest in him from a series of top teams. It’s unlikely that he’d feature in the starting XI for Liverpool given the overwhelming quality of their attacking forces already, but if he does make the jump, then it could speak volumes about the potential future of Daniel Sturridge at Anfield.
Bayern, on the other hand, want to see Kruse take on the role of being a back-up for Robert Lewandowski. You have to question how he’d feel about that, given that he was the main man in many respects with Werder Bremen.
Either way, it seems like it’ll take a big effort from either club to secure his signature.
