Real Madrid-linked Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced off the pitch with an injury in Liverpool’s vital triumph over Bournemouth on Saturday, but manager Arne Slot has confirmed reports that the 26-year-old right-back won’t be out for too long.
He will, nonetheless, miss the second leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, and he’s not expected to feature against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup three days later either.
