Liverpool striker Fernando Torres believes that his side has the ability to win this year’s Premiership, he told the club’s official website.
Liverpool haven’t won a league title in 18 years, but Torres feels that this might just be their year. “I believe we can win the Premier League or the UEFA Champions League.
“Arsenal produce great football, Liverpool and Chelsea are very difficult teams to play against and Manchester United played fantastically well last year,” he continued.
“All the teams have different styles but are equally effective. I think the four biggest teams in England are now the best in Europe. We have a good chance of doing well but it won’t be easy to finish above any of the other three sides.”
Torres was one of Liverpool’s most influential players last season, scoring a total of 24 league goals – 33 in all competitions.
