Liverpool & Chelsea want Gravenberch

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool and Chelsea are both set to pursue the signing of Ryan Gravenberch.

The Ajax youngster has already become an established member of Ajax’s first team squad and, in addition to that, has been capped by the Netherlands national team – which gives him a pretty good pedigree in comparison to most rising stars in this sport.

He is currently valued at around £30 million and is largely considered to be one of the most exciting teenage starlets in the beautiful game today.

Chelsea have a history of buying the next big thing whereas Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp views him as a potential replacement for the outgoing Georginio Wijnaldum.

There are a lot of moving parts here and we probably won’t see further development on it until the summer transfer window, but you’d have to think this is one to keep an eye on.
