Liverpool and Manchester City are among clubs looking at Real Madrid youngster Jack Harper, according to the Daily Mail.
The 18-year-old midfielder largely impressed the scouts from the two Premiership sides with his performance in the UEFA Youth League match against FC Basel, scoring one goal in a 2-0 victory.
Liverpool and Manchester City plan to continue monitoring his development with a view of luring him to England in the near future.
Harper was born in Spain to Scottish parents and he was signed by Real Madrid when he was just 13.
He has since been coached by club icons Fernando Morientes and Zinedine Zidane, and is considered by many as one of Real’s hottest prospects.
The attacking midfielder has made three appearances for Scotland Under-17 side, but he has yet to be promoted from the youth squad at Santiago Bernabeu.
As things stand now, los Blancos officials face a real fight on their hands to keep hold of the talented footballer.
