Premier League giants Liverpool appear to be closing in on former Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah, according to various reports.
The 24-year-old has been in stunning form ever since he joined AS Roma, initially on a season-long loan from Stamford Bridge, and he managed 15 goals and 11 assists last season.
Bein Sports claims that Salah’s agent is in England, trying to agree a deal with Liverpool, although the Reds reportedly had a €34 million deal rejected for the Egyptian.
While AS Roma are clearly holding out for more money, an agreement could be reached in the coming days, allowing the winger to return to England.
Salah initially joined Chelsea from FC Basel, but he was never given a real chance to impress at Stamford Bridge, making mere 13 Premier League appearances for the Blues.
