Liverpool competing with Inter Milan and AC Milan for Perr Schuurs

Liverpool face competition from Italian giants Inter Milan and AC Milan for Ajax central defender Perr Schuurs, according to Calciomercato. It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that the defending Premier League champions are looking for a central defender as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, who is likely to miss the rest of the season and have identified Schuurs.

However, according to the report, Inter and Milan are also keen on the the Dutch youngster. Ajax, though, are not considering selling the 20-year-old, who is valued at €30 million at the moment. This is not the first time that Liverpool have been linked with Schuurs. The Mirror reported on October 31 that the Reds are monitoring the youngster.

According to WhoScored, Schuurs has played seven times in the Eredivisie and has made three appearances in the Champions League for Ajax so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the Dutchman made seven starts and three substitute appearances in the league, scoring one goal in the process, and also played 113 minutes in the Europa League and 108 minutes in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.
