Liverpool are interested in signing Levi Colwill from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Manchester City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season, are also monitoring the defender.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have made two enquires for Colwill, the second being made a few weeks ago. Chelsea dismissed it swiftly. The London club’s stance is that the 20-year-old centre-back will not leave and will stay at the club.
However, according to the report, Colwill will decide his future after holding talks with new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino. The youngster spent last season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion from Chelsea. Brighton want to sign the English youngster on a permanent deal.
