According to TeamTalk, Liverpool have been given hope that they could land a Real Madrid star this summer in light of the imminent arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The report quotes Brazilian outlet UOL in saying that both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes have expressed concerns over potential loss of game-time next season. However, the player likeliest to leave Real to ease the overflow of attacking talent is apparently Arda Guler.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has started the ongoing European Championship in an excellent way, getting on the scoresheet in Turkey’s opening-day win over Georgia, and the newly appointed Liverpool boss Arne Slot is said to be a big admirer of his talents. Another option would be Rodrygo, whose pace and trickery on the right wing arguably make him a better candidate for the role of long-term successor for Mohamed Salah. On the other hand, Real president Florentino Perez and head coach Carlo Ancelotti both remain firm that the Brazilian is a part of their long-term plans.
