Liverpool are interested in signing Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Liverpool are willing to spend big to convince newly-crowned Italian champions Inter to part company with Barella.
The report has claimed that Liverpool, who are now unlikely to win the Premier League title this season, have had interest in Barella in the past. Even though Jurgen Klopp is leaving as the manager of the Reds at the end of the season, it will not affect the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners’ stance on the 27-year-old Italy international midfielder.
Barella is one of the best midfielders in Italy and has been on the books of Inter since 2020. The Italian star helped the Nerazzurri win Serie A in 2020-21 and 2023-24. He also helped Inter reach the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2023 and the final of the UEFA Europa League in 2020.
