Liverpool are interested in signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, according to The Mirror. It has been reported that Villa are ready for approaches from Manchester United and Manchester City for the attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.
Defending Premier League champions Liverpool are also monitoring the future of Grealish and have identified him as a potential replacement for Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah, according to the report. The value of the 25-year-old is now at least £25 million, but Villa are unlikely to cash in on their captain wen the transfer window opens in January.
Grealish is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and is a regular in the England squad. The 25-year-old has scored five goals and provided six assists in 12 league matches for Villa so far this season, according to WhoScored. Villa are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 22 points from 12 matches.
