Liverpool are interested in signing Marc Guehi from Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Liverpool are on the hunt for a new defender because of Virgil van Dijk being out of contract at the Reds at the end of the season, and that Guehi is on the radar of the Merseyside club.
Guehi came through the Chelsea youth academy, but the defender failed to establish himself in the Blues’ first team and had loan spells at Swansea City. Having joined Palace in 2021, the England international centre-back has established himself as one of the best young defenders in the Premier League.
The defender has made 101 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Guehi has scored three goals, given two assists, and has kept 22 clean sheets in those games. Liverpool are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
