Liverpool eye move for Sirigu

Liverpool could be set to make a summer move for Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, according to the Express.

The proposed bid casts further doubt over the future of current Reds’ number one Simon Mignolet, who has struggled to convince all since arriving at Anfield in the summer of 2013.

The former Sunderland man only penned a new contract with Jurgen Klopp’s side in January, but his struggle to hold down a regular run of good form has put his place in the German’s first team under threat.

Sirigu had been PSG’s number one for the past four seasons but this season lost his place to summer arrival Kevin Trapp,

The Italy international has made just three appearances in all competitions this season and is ready to listen to offers from other clubs.

Liverpool host Stoke City on Sunday afternoon, with the home win priced at 8/13.
