Liverpool eye Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin

Liverpool are interested in signing Andriy Lunin from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Premier League club Liverpool are looking at Lunin as a potential replacement for Alisson.

Alisson is the number one goalkeeper at Liverpool, but there is interest in him from clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Although the Brazil international prefers to stay at Anfield, anything is possible when the summer transfer window is open. So, Liverpool are looking at Lunin if Alisson leaves.

Lunin has been on the books of Madrid since 2018. After loan spells at Leganes, Real Valladolid and Real Ovieda, the Ukraine international has established himself as part of the first-team squad at Madrid. The 25-year-old made 21 appearances in La Liga and eight in the UEFA Champions League for Carlo Ancelotti’s side last season. Madrid won both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season.
