Catalan daily newspaper Sport has learned that Liverpool are among clubs showing interest in Barcelona youngster Adama Traore.
The 18-year-old has just scored his first goal for the senior side, having netted in the Copa del Rey hammering of Huesca, but he has long been on the radar of the Anfield outfit.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes Traore would be a great signing for the Reds and is eager to lure him to Merseyside at the earliest opportunity.
The problem is that Barcelona are not too keen on letting one of their hottest prospects leave, although they would probably consider a loan deal.
Adama Traore, who is also followed by Everton and West Ham, has been in fine form playing for club’s B side in the second tier.
The winger has so far managed 7 goals and 12 assists in 42 league appearances for Barcelona B and he is currently member of Spain Under-19 side.
